Certificates were ceremoniously awarded at RIT Croatia to the fifth generation of participants in Youth Business Camp Adria Zagreb, an educational camp for high school students interested in entrepreneurship, economics, and innovation. After ten days of intensive work, participants presented their own business projects before an expert panel, demonstrating an excellent understanding of the knowledge and skills they had acquired. Throughout the camp, the students had the opportunity to attend as many as 26 lectures in the fields of economics, entrepreneurship, marketing, public affairs, finance, and digital strategies. These lectures were delivered by renowned professionals from leading companies such as L’Oréal Adria, Kone Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom, Podravka Agri, and many others. The camp was further enriched by lecturers from higher education institutions including Vern University, Algebra Bernays University, and RIT Croatia, whose representatives supported the educational program and mentored the students. As part of a professional field trip, the young entrepreneurs visited the Croatian Radio Forum and CineStar Cinemas, where they gained insight into the operations and management of media and entertainment systems. We extend our sincere thanks to our partners and sponsors, whose contributions make it possible to implement and offer scholarships for this program: Press Clipping, Žabac Food Outlet, ABC brand, and the law firm Mamić, Perić, Reberski Rimac.
“Unfortunately, school systems and curricula have fallen behind in a time of rapid change. I’m proud of my team, especially Tina Mažuran, who has been coordinating this project for five years. This year, the project was presented as a franchise at a franchise expo. In this way, we are combining social responsibility with future commercial development. I thank all our lecturers who have supported us pro bono over the years, as well as the academic institutions, sponsors, and everyone who has supported us over the past five years. A special thanks goes to our program and technical partner, RIT Croatia,” said Danijel Koletić, founder of Youth Business Camp Adria Zagreb.
Following the certificate ceremony, a panel discussion was held on the topic “Game-Changing Skills of the Future”, featuring: Jurica Belle, Director of Sales and Marketing at Podravka Agri, Petra Boić Petrač, Director of Communications and Donations at WWF Adria, Prof. Dr. Kristina Šorić, university professor and expert in business analytics, Anela Kuburaš, expert in media and digital technologies
The event concluded with an informal gathering of all Youth Business Camp Adria alumni, further strengthening the network of young leaders ready to face the challenges of the future.
